What is the Yuri Method?
The Yuri Method is our research-driven approach to teaching STEM through cognitive science, inquiry-based learning, and rigorous hands-on experimentation. Students strengthen real scientific thinking through structured investigation and high-challenge activities, resulting in academic success far beyond grade-level expectations!
Q2.
How many times per week should my child attend sessions?
Students may attend once or twice a week, depending on the package you choose. Each week, we offer two unique sessions, both covering the same scientific topic but through different experiments.
Session 1 (S1): introduces and explores the week’s concept
Session 2 (S2): a second, distinct experiment that deepens understanding of the same topic
Attending both gives students the full learning cycle for the week, with two complementary hands-on investigations.
Attending once still provides a complete, meaningful experience. Families simply choose either S1 or S2 based on availability.
This structure gives you flexibility while ensuring your child can learn at the pace that fits them best.

What makes your labs unique?

Do semesters repeat content?
No. Every semester introduces new topics, experiments, and scientific pathways.
Students continuously progress and there is no repetition of old lessons.

How many students are in each session?
We maintain intentionally small groups: maximum 6-8 students per instructor.
This ensures focus, precision, personalized feedback, and safe lab practice.

Are your programs suitable for advanced or gifted students?
Yes. Our curriculum is intentionally built to challenge students who crave deeper thinking and higher-level problem solving.
The Yuri Method adapts to each learner’s ability, enabling rapid growth for advanced students while still supporting beginners.

How are your lessons different from typical STEM classes?
Our lessons are highly interactive, intentionally challenging, and designed to build analytical thinking. Students follow a consistent scientific process: Observe → Question → Test → Analyze → Communicate. They use real lab tools, handle meaningful experiments, and experience advanced STEM in a way that builds independence, confidence, and curiosity.

We proudly operate two fully equipped STEM labs in Bellevue:

What is your credit system and make-up policy?
We use a flexible credit-based system to keep attendance stress-free while maintaining small, focused groups:
Credits can be used to join any available session at your child’s level.
You may reschedule or make up missed sessions any time
Unused credits automatically roll into the next semester.
Make-up sessions depend on availability to maintain small group sizes
If your child cannot attend their scheduled session, please let us know at least 1 hour before class so we can adjust plans.
Without at least 1 hour notice, a credit may be deducted from your plan because late cancellations do not give instructors enough time to modify or cancel a class.
No credit will be removed if you communicate the change in advance or if there are unexpected circumstances that you notify us about afterward.
Our aim is low stress + high consistency.

We provide several flexible options to support different schedules and learning goals:
1-year Bundle: Our best value for year-round learning.
40 weeks / 80 sessions
Full-Time Semester Package: For accelerated, twice-a-week learning.
32 unique sessions per semester
16-Session Pass: A flexible option for busy schedules.
Join any session with availability
Junior Discoverers (Ages 4–5): A bilingual early-science program.
1 hour weekly, taught in Russian + English

What is the purpose of the Demo / Evaluation Session?
Our Evaluation Session is the first step for all families.
It allows us to:
Understand how your child learns
Assess strengths, curiosity, and ideal program placement
Introduce families to our method
Tour the lab and see the environment firsthand
Students complete a guided DNA Adventure experiment while we evaluate fit and readiness.

What programs do you offer?
We offer structured program tracks by age group:
Junior Discoverers (Ages 4–5): Early exploration, sensory-rich investigations, foundational curiosity
Young Explorers (Ages 6–8): Core scientific reasoning, guided experiments, early analytical skills
Aspiring Scientists (Ages 9–12): Multi-step investigations, independent thinking, deeper scientific theory
Rising Scholars (Ages 13+, Instructor Approval Required): High-level labs, engineering challenges, real research-style work
Placement is based on both age and individual learning profile.
We also offer a mixed-age program designed for families with morning availability:
Stem Pioneers (Mixed Ages): Dynamic weekly sessions filled with exploration, creativity, and discovery

What does your semester/term structure look like?
We follow a semester-based system for stable skill growth:
Fall Semester: September to February
Spring Semester: February to June
We also offer a summer term:
Summer Term: June to August
Each semester and term introduces new content with no repeating.
