Founder & Program Director

Tami

MS, UCSD

Founder & Program Director

Tami holds a bachelor’s degree in Physiology and Neuroscience and a master’s in Biology from the University of California, San Diego. Her background spans physiology, neurobiology, chemistry, microbiology, and biophysics, shaping the hands-on, advanced approach behind the Yuri Method. As a published researcher, she has worked on topics including genetic engineering, cancer resistance, and biotechnology. Thus bringing real scientific depth into her programs. Tami began teaching at age 13 as a gymnastics coach, leading students to national recognition and earning Coach of the Year. At UC San Diego, she received the Excellence in Teaching award and later developed and led a second-grade learning pod that advanced them beyond their grade level. This achievement would led to the foundation of the Yuri Method. Instructor & Communications

Neta

BS, UW

Instructor & Communications

Neta is a microbiologist currently finishing her master’s in Epidemiology at the University of Washington, then going to pursue her PhD in epidemiology from the University of Florida. From a young age Neta has loved teaching children, whether it was helping non-English speakers learn the language, teaching swimming, or sharing water safety rule. She was inspired by her grandfather, Yuri, whose passion for sharing knowledge and watching it spark curiosity in others showed her that there is nothing more rewarding than teaching. For Neta, the greatest moment is seeing a child’s eyes light up when something finally clicks. In her free time she enjoys spending time with friends and family and staying active through workouts.

Lead Instructor

Elias

MS, UW

Lead Instructor

Elias recently earned a master’s degree in biochemistry from the University of Washington, where he worked at the Institute for Protein Design on developing new protein-based medicines. Growing up, he loved learning but often found it challenging in traditional classrooms. That experience fuels Elias' passion for teaching. Elias enjoys helping students discover their strengths, and learning alongside them. For him, teaching is a two-way process that deepens understanding and strengthens our ability to serve one another in diverse communities. Outside of work, he enjoys working out, snowboarding, playing games, and reading.
