Yuri Method Research Fellowship

Turn Curiosity Into Real Discovery!

The Select Yuri Method Fellowship is a competitive research experience for students ready to move beyond guided experiments and into authentic scientific inquiry. Fellows design original research, work in small teams with close mentorship, write official scientific reports, and present at the Washington State Science & Engineering Fair and beyond!

Admission is application-based and spots are extremely limited to preserve small-group mentorship.

overview

A selective, application-based program where students engage in real scientific research.

Fellows work closely with mentors to design, execute, and present original projects, developing confidence, independence, and deep critical thinking.

Many students go on to present at state & national science fairs and competitive showcases.

How it Works

Students work in small, high-level research teams (2–3 per instructor) with weekly expert mentorship.

Over the course of the fellowship, they design, test, & refine original research projects.

Students build real scientific thinking, problem-solving, & communication skills.

From idea to final presentation, students take full ownership of their work.
