Yuri Method Research Fellowship
Turn Curiosity Into Real Discovery!
The Select Yuri Method Research Fellowship is a competitive research experience for students ready to move beyond guided experiments and into authentic scientific inquiry. Fellows design original research, work in ultra-small teams with close mentorship, and ultimately present on a real stage at the Washington State Science & Engineering Fair!

overview
The Research Fellowship is a small, invitation-only program designed for students to engage in authentic scientific research, emphasizing curiosity, confidence, and deep scientific thinking. Students work closely with an instructor mentor to design, execute, and present an original research project at the Washington State Science Fair.

How it
Works
Students work in very small research teams (2–3 students per instructor) and meet weekly for expert-guided mentorship as they develop original, student-driven research projects. The program develops scientific thinking & clear communication, giving students real ownership over their work from question to conclusion.
Real
discovery
Fellows build and present original research in 14–16 guided research sessions with full lab access, structured mock competitions with feedback, and on-site instructor coaching at the Washington State Science & Engineering Fair, with guidance for research publication.
